The riverside towns of Gadiara and Geonkhali are located on the other side of the river and takes less than an hour. You can also visit the riverside town of Nurpur, just 30 mins from Falta. The historic town of Tamluk in East Midnapore on the bank of River Rupnarayan is also not far and so is the Industrial town of Haldia.
